Shane (Japanese: シェーン Shien) is one of the title characters of the upcoming Pokémon art collection, Shane's Adventure. As the Shiny Pokémon, he is able to communicate in human language without telepathy.

In the fan artEdit

As a Shinx

Shane first appears as a Shinx, who is Jake's nephew, and a hero who has gone on countless adventures. Shane is a creation of Crystal Franks and her American company, Super Jump Punch!; however, he has a star on his trademarked red hat and he wears glasses, and he almost identical to Inside-Out Boy's normal form. Shane has also gone on many adventures by himself and has even starred in his own racing game for the PC.

As a Luxio

Shane later evolved into a Luxio in Great Choice! during the performance of the rope swinging action and quickly loses his uncle Jake. However, he loses his hat, but retained his glasses. As in many episodes down the line, he evolved again into a Luxray in Beware of Luxray Jr.! to battle with Shadow Charizard. From now on, he loses his his glasses. From the time of him becoming a Luxray, he refused to obey Jake, the only exception being when he decided to test his strength against Shadow Persian, his arch-enemy.

Later, he decides to let Jake guard the Manaphy egg he founded. Unfortunately, when he assigns this duty to him he does not expect Primal Arceus to attack. Unable to defend himself from Primal Arceus, the Manaphy egg is stolen. Shane and his future wife, Amy, ventures through Shadow Isle and rescues the Manaphy egg from Shadow Persian. While the Manaphy egg is rescued by Shane, a Manaphy hatches from it.

Shane stars in the unplanned idea game Shane's Victory Race! as a Shinx. While lazing around one day, Shane ends up meeting his long-time friend Sarah, a lazy baby Kangaskhan. She asks Shane for help, as Shadow Espeon has invaded her home. Sarah needs Shane's help to get rid of him. Shane and Sarah, along with their Pokémon friends, eventually manages to drive off Shadow Espeon and release those who are under his mind control. Shane is a balanced middleweight racer in the game with no major strengths or weaknesses. He drives a red vehicle in this game.
